Azio Technology Offers “Recon_Master 10 Series”, A Remote Site Management Solution
Seoul, South Korea December 18 2003--Azio Technology (http://www.aziotech.com), a Korean IT venture company, has developed network equipment that remotely controls all systems (Router, Switch, CSU, DSU, Unix, etc) through serial console when problems occur in the systems. It also remotely controls on all non-ATX power switches (ON/OFF/Reset) of the system.
Azio technology has developed and obtained a patent for “Recon Master 10 Series” which remotely controls and manages systems as if the network manager is at the actual site of devices.
“Recon Master 10 Series” remotely manages a network through serial ports in which a network can be managed from a remote management server, even in a state where a keyboard and monitor are connected to a managed system, thus providing a common centralized management that enables monitoring and administration from a single Recon server. This allows a technician to access a system’s console from anywhere on the local network or via the Internet as if they were locally connected through a direct serial connection. In addition it has TFTP server embedded to save router/server OS to efficiently restore OS when needed thus reducing network downtime, preparing technicians for on-site visit and eliminating costly service calls.
Currently, they are installed at KT (Korea Telecom), KTF (Korea Telecom Freetel), Hyundai Securities, Kyung-Ju City Hall, Ministry of Information and Communication and Ministry of National Defense. The remote site management market is expected to increase both domestically and abroad.
Mr. Chang, Suk Kyu, CEO of Azio Technology, will persist on business sales under the motto of “Originality and challenge will create future value” to expand the market share and to become the core role of remote maintenance in MSP (Management Service Provider) business model.
